We are so happy to have Julia Chupik, a fellow Canadian crafter, guest designing for us and sharing her stunning slider card! We had our pop-up-shop set up again at Julia's Paradise Lost Crop this month again and we had the privilege to see her in the process of creating this beautiful project. She did a wonderful job using the masculine Adventure collection to create a romantic card for her lucky hubby. We will let Julia take it away -
Hello everyone! Julia here from Paradise Lost and I am thrilled to be here on The Wild Whisper Designs blog today. I am sharing a Valentines Day pop-up slider card I designed using the Adventure 12x12 paper pack & card pack. It's fabulous and so perfect for those outdoorsy "let's go camping" and "take a hike" type of pages.
I fussy cut this bear silhouette image off of one of the pattern papers from the Adventure paper collection. I thought it summed up our relationship perfectly!
My main embellishment was made using a 4x6 card and die cutting the top edge for visual interest. The "I Love You" sentiment was die cut out of 2 - 3x4 cards. Everything ended up beautifully color coordinated.
Here is a photo of the finished card folded flat. If you've never made a pop-up slider card before, go check out the YouTube video tutorial from Einat Kessler.
Thank you for checking out my project today & I hope I have inspired you with my Valentines Day card using the Adventure Collection from Wild Whisper.
~stay crafty~
