Karla shares Folding Box Cards with the Brand New Collection!

We are thrilled to be releasing our latest collection this month - World's Best! The World’s Best collection applauds moms and dads for all that they do! It is perfect for scrapbooking your own parenting triumphs, documenting experiences with your parents, or creating meaningful gift items for loved ones. We took inspiration from the fresh colours of springtime to create this playful and heartfelt collection. As always, the papers are fully designed by us and printed here in Calgary, AB Canada. Our stamps are also designed by us and manufactured in the USA. Everything is kept as local as possible!

Hey crafty friends! It's Karla here today to share the amazing new Wild Whisper collection, World's Best! This is such a gorgeous collection celebrating moms and dads. Not only is it perfect for Mother's Day and Father's Day projects, but I love how it coordinates with the other collections as well for a variety of projects!! Today I'm sharing two cards with you, and showing you how to create both a Mother's Day and a Father's Day box card. You can check out all the pretty details I added to these awesome cards below and follow along with the video if you want to make your own!
I used my Cuttlebug machine and diecut a scalloped rectangle before stamping a sentiment on with the amazing "World's Best" stamp set that coordinates with the paper pack this month. The loopy stamp is lovely and stamps so nicely!

The inside of my card is filled with more diecuts, fussy cut stamped images and even flowers from the Focus On You papers. I absolutely love the wood veneer key that is in this new release! So sweet!

On the side flaps of the box I added stamped lock and key images from the stamp set that I heat embossed using Emerald Creek embossing powders sold in the Wild Whisper store. The sequins and cork add some bling!

The fun thing about these cards is that you can fold them sideways so they fit into an envelope without bending any of your pretty inside elements!

I also created a Father's Day version of the box card using the World's Best collection! I love using the branding strips as an extra embellishment along the bottom. 

This time I used a circular diecut and star sequins and cork on my front flap. I love the green paper and the fabulous stitching stamp!

Another cool wood key decorates the back of this card, and fun embellishments cut from the Focus On You and No Place Like Home collections fit right in. The 'everything' sentiment from the stamp set is one of my favourites and I love how versatile the whole set is!

On the side flaps I use a similar design along with star sequins and the fun cork stars. 

I'm pretty sure my kids are going to love giving this to their dad!! And I know he's going to love receiving it!
