Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Let Your Feet Wander Tag. To create my tag, I've used the No Place Like Home Collection and the stamp set from the Where to Next? Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite spring beverage and learn how to recreate my tag at home.
To start, you'll need a tag. Next, you'll need the brick patterned paper from the No Place Like Home Paper Pack. Trace the tag around the patterned paper. Cut the patterned paper tag out. Punch a hole at the top of the patterned paper tag. Flip the paper over and fussy cut a cup. Ink the edges of the both tags and the cup using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Cut a piece of the green damask paper that measures 2 7/8" x 5 1/8". Flip the paper over and fussy cut three houses out. Ink the edges of the paper and houses using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Cut a piece from the blue chevron patterned paper that measures 2 5/8" x 4 7/8". Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose two border strips from the bottom of the patterned papers. Cut the first border strip down to 3". Cut the second border strip down to 2 1/2". Ink the edges of the border strip using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the window paper, fussy cut two windows out. Ink the edges of the windows using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the small house paper, fussy cut four houses out. Ink the edges of the houses using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the patterned paper tag to the plain tag. Adhere the green damask patterned paper to the tag. Adhere the blue chevron patterned paper to the green damask patterned paper.
Die cut a 3" Scallop Circle out of a piece of white cardstock. From the Where to Next? 4x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the Let Your Feet wander quote. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the quote and stamp onto the scallop circle. Ink the edges of the scallop circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam. Foam square the scallop circle 1 1/8" from the left and 2 1/8" from the top of the tag. On the left side of the scallop circle, use adhesive and foam squares to adhere a window, a house and a cup as desired.
On the right side of the scallop circle, adhere the other window, two houses and one small house as desired.
Adhere the two border strips to the bottom portion of the scallop circle as desired.
Adhere one of the small houses to the left of the border strips. Adhere the remaining two small houses to the top portion of the scallop circle.
To finish the tag, tie a piece of green twine through the hole at the top of the tag.
Here are a few closeups of the finished tag.
