Hello Wild Whisper friends! My name is Tracy and this is my very FIRST post with Wild Whisper and I couldn't be more excited to go on this crafty journey.
Here are the details on my first layout I created.
I started my layout by taking a sheet of black cardstock and splattering white acrylic paint around the edges.
I used the fabulous new Nicole Wright Media Assemblage 12x12 Paper Pack for my layout. I took the pattern I used for the background and cut 1/4" off each side. Save those strips for later.
Using Black Soot Distress Oxide ink on a mat sprayed with water, I drug all of the edges of the background pattern through the pools of ink, and let dry.
I added the "live life in full" using the stamp from the Strength of the Season 4x6 Stamp Set. But, when inking with the embossing pad I made sure to leave of the "bloom" from the sentiment. I used black embossing powder once stamped onto the background. Then I added chipboard letter stickers to complete my sentiment.
Grab those 1/4" strips of the patterned paper you trimmed off earlier. I inked the edges slightly and added 3 strips along the middle of the layout.
I double matted my 4x4 photo in white cardstock and distressed the edges. I added an additional mat using a 4x6 card from the Strength of the Season Card Pack. I just loved the rich tone of the flowers. I inked the edges and adhered it to the middle of the layout using foam tape.
I added cheesecloth to either side of the matted photo along with a few buttons. I also added a tag and ticket above the matted photo, and a couple of sentiment stickers.
