Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! I'm excited to be back on the blog today sharing with you my Love is the Flower Tag which features the new Floral Collection. To create my tag, I've used the Paper Pack and Ephemera from the Floral Collection. Grab a cup of your favourite spring time beverage and learn how to recreate my tag at home.
To start, you'll need a gel press plate, I used a 3" x 4" gel plate. On the gel plate place a dot of Blush, Yellow, Orange, Sky and Turquoise Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic. Brayer the colours together. Press into the wet paint a piece of bubble wrap. Place a tag into the plate and then remove the tag.
Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the two bubble stamps and stamp onto the tag as desired. Apply Jet Black Archival ink to the x stamp and stamp randomly on the tag. Distress the edges of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose a border strip from the bottom of one of the patterned papers. Cut into strips as desired. Ink the edges of the quote strips using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the tropical patterned paper, fussy cut a large pink flower, a large orange flower and four orange flowers. Ink the edges of the flowers using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.
From the Ephemera pack, you'll need one large black/white flower bunch, one medium coral flower, two pink flowers, two black and white buds and one leaf bunch. Ink the edges of the images using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.
Foam square the three bunch black/white flowers to the middle left side of the tag. Adhere the two coral flowers one to either side of the black/white flower bunch.
Shape the orange flower. Adhere the orange flower in between the two pink flowers. In the bottom left hand side of the tag, adhere a bud and leaf. To the right of the bottom light pink flower, adhere a medium coral flower.
Adhere the rest of the flowers in amongst the other flowers already on the tag.
Adhere the border strip quote to the right of the flower bunch using adhesive and 3D Foam Squares. To finish off the tag, tie a piece of twine at the top of the tag.
