Hey Wild Whisper Fans! Katelyn here and I’m back on the blog today to share with you a project featuring the Forever & Always Collection, Small Patterns Mini Collection and Sequins. For my project today, I've used a variety of the papers from the collection, the coordinating Card Pack and the Small Patterns mini collection to create my Love Never Fails Tag. You'll want to make sure to grab a glass of your favourite beverage as I will walk you through how to recreate my Love Never Fails Tag at home.
To start, you'll need to pick a tag. I like to use Graphic 45's tags as they have a coordinating die to cut a matching patterned paper tag out.
From the Small Patterns pack, take out the grey polka dot paper. I used the coordinating Graphic 45 die to cut the shape of the tag out on the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Take out the pink flower paper and die cut another tag, this will be used for the back of the tag. With the pink floral paper still out, cut a piece that measures 3 3/8" x 4 5/8". Round the corners of the cut paper. Ink the edges of the patterned paper pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Forever & Always card pack, take out the card with the diamond on it. Fussy cut the diamond out. Ink the edges of the diamond using Black Soot Distress ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Forever & Always card pack, take the card with the floral on one side out. Round the corners of the card. Ink the edges of the flowers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the card paper out of the Forever & Always paper pack, cut out the "Love Never Fails" sentiment. You'll want to make sure that each word is cut out individually and in strips. Ink the edges of the words strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the floral paper out of the Forever & Always paper pack, cut out four flower bunches, two peach flowers, three small pink flowers and three small peach flowers. Ink the edges of the flowers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the Road Trips & Sunshine Sequin pack, take out 15 sequins.
Take out one doily from the package.
Adhere the grey polka dot patterned paper tag to the tag. Adhere the pink flower paper piece to the middle of the grey polka dot tag.
Adhere the doily to the center of the pink flower paper. Foam square the floral card to the center of the doily.
Use foam squares and adhesive to adhere and layer the flowers to the center of the floral card.
Foam square the diamond to the center of the flowers. Adhere the "Love Never Fails" sentiment to the bottom portion of the diamond.
To add some extra interest to the tag, adhere the sequins as desired in amongst the flowers and diamond.
Adhere the pink flower patterned paper tag to the back side of the tag.
To finish the tag, add a black ribbon bow to the top of the tag.
