Merry Gift Box with Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! Christmas is only 6 days away, so for today's project, I've created this quick but pretty Merry Gift Box. To create my gift box, I've used the Winter and Christmas Collection by Pam Bray Designs. Grab a cup of your favourite Christmas beverage and learn how to recreate my gift box at home.
To start, you'll need the Christmas tree paper out of the Winter and Christmas Paper Pack. Cut two pieces that measure 4" x 8 1/4". Score each paper at 1/4". Cut another piece of patterned paper that measures 4" x 4". Ink the edges of all of the papers using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the poinsettia paper out of the Winter and Christmas Paper Pack. Cut five pieces that measure 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". Ink the edges of all of the papers using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Brush Letters - 6x8 Stamp Set, spell the word Merry out. Apply Festive Berries Distress Ink to each letter and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Fussy cut the word out. Ink the edges of the word using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut one of the stars from the Dimensional Stars die out of a piece of copper foil paper.
Choose two of the greens from the Holiday Greens Die. Die cut one of the greens once out of white cardstock. Die cut the other greens twice out of white cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Shabby Shutters Distress Ink over the single green.  Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the two remaining greens.
Now you'll need to assemble your 4" gift box.
Adhere the two 4" strips that are scored around the box. Adhere the single 4" square to the top of the box.
Adhere one of the 3 3/4" squares one each side and the top of the gift box.
Adhere the greenery as desired to the front of the box on the 3 3/4" square.
Foam square the star to the middle of the 3 3/4" square. To finish the gift box, use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the Merry word to the middle of the star.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished gift box.
Here is the finished Merry Gift Box.
