My Best Friend Card by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's project, I've created this fun and sassy My Best Friend Card. To create my card, you'll need the Paper Pack, Card Pack, Ephemera and Flair from the Sassy Since Birth Collection. Grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my card at home.
Die cut a 4" Stitched Rectangle out of black cardstock. Cut a piece of black cardstock that measures 3 1/8" x 4 3/8". Distress the edges of both pieces.
From the Sassy Since Birth Card Pack, you'll need the 3"x4" card that has hexagons on one side. Cut the card down to 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". Distress the edges of the card. Ink the edges of the card using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Sassy Since Birth Paper Pack, you'll need the brick paper. Die cut a 3" Stitched Rectangle out of the paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the same paper pack, you'll need the blue background the colourful bursts on it. Die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Rectangle out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. From the other side of the paper, cut the "My Best Friend Is The Best. She Hates All The Things I Hate" word strip. Cut the words into strips as desired. I had a total of six strips. Ink the edges of the rectangle and strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose one of the Flair buttons from the Sassy Since Birth Flair.
From the Sassy Since Birth Ephemera, you'll need two large triangles, one label and ten hexagons. Fussy cut around the label and triangles. Ink the edges of all the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere one of the triangles in the top right corner of the 3 1/2" stitched rectangle. Adhere the other triangle in the bottom left corner of the 3 1/2" stitched rectangle. Adhere the 3 1/2" stitched rectangle to the 4" stitched rectangle.
Adhere the 3" stitched rectangle to the black cardstock piece. Adhere the card to the left side of the black cardstock piece making sure that 1/4" is showing. Adhere the label to the right side of the black cardstock piece making sure that 1/4" is showing. Foam square the black cardstock piece to the middle of the 3 1/2" stitched rectangle.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the hexagons as desired on the left hand side of the brick patterned paper.
Use foam squares to adhere the "My Best Friend Is The Best. She Hates All The Things I Hate." quote as desired on the right hand side of the hexagons. Adhere the flair button in amongst the hexagons and the quote as desired.
To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 4" x 10 1/2", score at 5 1/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.
