My Heart Is Blooming Notecard by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this My Heart Is Blooming Notecard perfect for Valentine's Day. To create my notecard, I've used the Ledger & Script Collection by Nicole Wright Designs, The Bloom In Love 4x6 Stamp Set by Pam Bray Designs and the Talk Foodie to Me 4x6 Stamp Set. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite winter beverage and learn how to recreate my notecard at home.
From the Ledger & Script Paper Pack, you'll need a red piece of patterned paper. Cut the paper to 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". From the Ledger & Script Stamp Set, you'll need the script and one of the number stamps. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the script stamp and stamp randomly on the paper three times as desired. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the number stamp and stamp randomly on the paper five times. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed.
Cut a piece of the red/pink splatter paper to 3" x 4". Distress the edges of the paper. Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Distress the edges of the red 2 3/4" piece. Ink the edges of the piece using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the white border strip. Cut the strip down to 3 1/2". Cut a notch on the right hand side. From the Bloom In Love 4x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the xoxo stamp. Apply Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to the stamp and stamp onto the border strip. Ink the edges of the strip using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Talk Foodie to Me 4x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the label. Apply Candied Apple Distress Ink to the label and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. From the Bloom In Love 4x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the My heart sentiment. Apply Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to the sentiment and stamp in the middle of the label. Fussy cut the label out. Ink the edges of the label using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need a couple of the hearts from the Bloom In Love 4x6 Stamp Set. Apply Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to the hearts and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply ink to the hearts and stamp two more times. Fussy cut five of the hearts out. Ink the edges of the hearts using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the 2 3/4" paper to the 3" paper.
Adhere the border strip 5/8" from the left and 5/8" from the bottom of the 2 3/4" paper. Foam square the label 1/4" from the left and 3/4" from the bottom of the 2 3/4" paper.
Adhere the five hearts around the label as desired.
To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 3" x 8", score at 4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Here are a few closeups of the finished notecard.
