Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this My Heart is Blooming! Tag. To create my tag, I've used the New Ledger & Script Stamp Set by Nicole Wright Designs, the New Bloom In Love 4x6 Stamp Set by Pam Bray Designs and the Honeycomb Flair Stencil by Pam Bray Designs. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite fall beverage and learn how to recreate my tag at home.
To start, you'll need a white tag. Place the Honeycomb Flair Stencil on the tag as desired. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Victorian Velvet Distress Ink through the stencil. Remove the stencil.
Using the Script stamp from the Ledger & Script Stamp Set, apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the stamp. Stamp randomly on the tag seven times as desired. Distress the edges of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Bloom in Love 4x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the flower vase and the two hearts. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the flower vase and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock.
Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the hearts and stamp onto the same piece of watercolour cardstock.
Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to one of the hearts and stamp onto the same piece of watercolour cardstock. Colour the hearts and flower vase in using a waterbrush and watercolours. Once the images have dried, fussy cut the hearts and flower vase out. Ink the edge of all four images using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the same stamp set used in the previous step, you'll need the My Heart stamp. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the sentiment and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut the sentiment into a word strip. Ink the edges of the word strip using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Foam square the flower vase to the bottom left hand side of the tag as desired. Adhere the three hearts as desired around the flower vase.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the my heart sentiment to the bottom portion of the flower vase as desired.
To finish the tag, tie a bow with a piece of twine through the top of the tag. I used a metallic rose twine.
