From here we will let Nathalie take it away! Don't miss her process video directly below and a SECOND video further down in this post!

After a month long vacation in my native Ecuador, there are a lot of memories to document from all our travels and adventures. I always bring my TNs with me, so I can  record my  memories in them, this time I planned my pages so that I could use the new Out & About collection to complete some of the pages of my Travel Journal.

The collection is colorful, vibrant, and perfect to document all types of travels. For my first spread, I wanted to add color to the page so that it matched the colors that we encounter on our car rides through the Ecuadorian mountains. I chose to cover one of the pages of the TN with the post stamp paper from the collection. I cut one of the journal cards in half, and attached then into one single column on the opposite page of the TN.

Next, I added a large tag on top of the post stamp covered page.  The Out and About collection stamps were perfect to add the sentiment / title for this page.   So using a bit of black ink, the image was stamped to the tag.

Like I mentioned, we brought back lots of pictures, so I glued them back to back to one of the journal cards from the Out and About collection pack, and used some washi tape to attach them to the TN.

To finish the page, I used the small car image from the collection stamp set to add a small detail at the bottom of the journal lines.   Here is a small video on how the page came together:

The collection is so easy to work with, that I could not stop adding memories to my TN.   This time, I chose a rather large picture for my spread ( and I love this picture of our train ride through the mountains), and the Out & About stamp set.

This time I used the scribbled circle images to create the background on a page ( a stamping platform was very handy to create this!).  The small saying included in the stamp set, was then added to the top of the page.

To bring the colors in the picture out, I chose to layer a piece of one of the papers from the Out and About collection behind the picture.  The large compass image from the stamp set was added to the picture, this time I used archival ink to stamp directly onto the picture.  Just a few extra embellishments were needed to frame the picture.

The final touch to complete this page was the “Journey” wood veneer that was just released in the store.  A little bit of permanent glue sets the wood veneer to the bottom of the stamp paged, bringing balance and texture to the spread.

Here is a small video showing you how the next two spreads came together:

AS you watched on the video, I came up with a third spread for my travel journal.  It was that easy to create this spreads on my TN.

This last spread uses a combination of many of the products available in the Wild Whisper store. The design of the page is rather simple,  which brings attention to the title and pictures on the spread.

I started by adding  the compass image from the Out and About collection to the top of the TN page. If you have checked the store, then you will know that there is cut files created for each collection. This time, I used the titles cut file to create the “Explore” word from black cardstock, so that it could serve as the title for the spread.

One of the pictures was then layered with a card from the collection and glued to the bottom of the title.   I opted to type the  journal for this page, and  glued it to the bottom of opposite page.  Then I added a picture to the top of the  journal.  To complete the spread, I pulled the Rooted Love, and World’s Best  stamps sets to add a few more details around the page.

I am loving the end results of these three TN spreads. They were so easy to create, and so diverse on their designs even when using just the Out and About collection.  I hope you all are inspired by the designs.  Remember I am a comment away if you have questions on how these came together.

Supplies Used:
Out & About 12x12 paper pack
Out & About pocket scrapbooking card pack
Out & About stamp set
Rooted Love stamp set
World's Best stamp set
Journey title wood veneer
