Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! It's a new month and that means we are releasing a new collection. This months collection is called One More Chapter and it's filled with fabulous prints and Flairs. For my project today, I've used a variety of the papers from the One More Chapter Collection as well as the Flair buttons to create my One More Chapter Home Decor Piece. You'll want to grab a glass of your favourite summertime beverage as I will walk you through how to recreate my piece at home.
To start, you'll need a white frame that measures 4 3/8" x 6 1/4". Flip that frame over so that you are now working on the backside of it and ink the edges of the frame using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the cut apart paper from the One More Chapter paper pack, you'll need to cut out the following pieces: fussy cut two pens, fussy cut one pencil, fussy cut the three stars, the small book square, the "In the End" card and the "You Can never" card. Cut the "You Can Never" card down to 2 5/8" x 4 1/8". Ink the edges of all the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the book paper, cut a piece that measures 3 1/8" x 5 1/8". Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the date stamp paper, cut a piece that measures 3 3/8" x 5 3/8". Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Cut the yellow paper with grey words on it to 3 5/8" x 5 5/8". Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose two of the barcode strips. Cut the barcode strips off of each piece of paper. The first barcode strip needs to be cut to 3 1/2". Cut the second barcode strip to 3 1/4". Ink the edges of each barcode strip using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose one of the Flair buttons from the package.
Adhere the book paper to the date stamp paper. Adhere the date stamp paper to the yellow with grey word paper. Foam square the yellow with grey word paper to the inside of the frame.
Adhere the "In the End" Card 1/2" from the left and 3/4" from the top of the yellow with grey word paper. Adhere the book square 5/8" from the left and 1 5/8" from the top of the yellow with grey word paper. Adhere the 3 1/2" border strip 1/2" from the bottom of the yellow with grey words paper. Adhere the 3 1/4" border strip 1/4" from the bottom of the yellow with grey words paper.
Foam square the "You Can Never" card 1" from the left and 3/4" from the top of the yellow with grey words paper.
Adhere the two pens and the pencil to the left of the "You Can Never" card. Adhere the flair button to the bottom left corner of the "You Can Never" card.
To finish off your piece, adhere the three stars around the "You Can Never" card.
