Hello, Jenn here! I was so excited to start playing with the Feel the Beat collection. Music is such an important part of my family's life and this collection is just perfect for documenting that!
I started by going through the 12x12 papers to pick a background for my layout. I had my eye on that gorgeous crowd paper which I thought would really compliment my photo of my daughter watching the stage at her first 'real' concert, Panic! At the Disco in Seattle.
I went through the ephemera pack and picked out all the pieces I liked for the layout, to make three embellishment clusters on my layout. I added two layers behind my photo of the music sheet paper and the purple text paper. I used foam tape in between the two layers to add some dimension to the photo. I placed the photo in the right bottom corner of the page and added an embellishment cluster to the top, and left side of the picture. I put my third cluster up at the top, left of the page. Each cluster also got a flair. I decided to include the manufacturer's strip as part of the layout so I cut the equal amount off the top of the page.
I sorted through the matching exclusive SpiegelMom Scraps sequins and pulled out the colours that matched my layout. I played around a little bit with how to add my title, but finally settled on a small title at the bottom of the photo that simple says Panic! @ the Disco, using two types of thickers and a wood veneer @. I finished the layout with a sprinkle of gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine.
