Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Remember, Explore, Adventure Art Journal Page. To create my art journal page, I've used the New Ledger & Script Stamp Set, Ledger Stamp Set, Ledger & Script 12x12 Paper Pack and the Disjoined 6x8 Stencil by Nicole Wright Designs as well as the Where to Next? 4x6 Stamp Set. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite fall beverage and learn how to recreate my art journal page at home.
To start, you'll need to choose a page in your art journal. Start my putting a layer of white gesso on the page, it doesn't have to go all the way to the edges of the page. Once the gesso has dried, use a blending tool with foam to blend Dylusions Vanilla Custard Paint around the edges of the page. Once the paint has dried, go back and randomly apply white gesso as desired on the page. Allow the gesso to dry.
Next, you'll need the Disjoined 6x8 Stencil. Place the stencil on the left hand side of the page and blend Prize Ribbon Distress Ink with a blending tool and foam through the stencil. Move the stencil to the bottom right side of the page and repeat the previous step. Clean the stencil. Place the stencil in the top right corner of the page
and blend Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink with a blending tool and foam through the stencil. Move the stencil to the bottom left side of the page and repeat the previous step. Move the stencil back to the left side of the page where you've already stenciled the image in blue, now blend Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink with a blending tool and foam through the stencil.
Move the stencil back to the right side of the page where you've already stenciled the image in blue, now blend Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink with a blending tool and foam through the stencil.

From the Ledger Stamp, you'll need the No.5 stamp. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the stamp and stamp randomly on the page five times. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed.
Rub Prize Ribbon Distress Crayon along the edges of the page as desired.
Choose two pieces of patterned paper from the Ledger & Script 12x12 Paper Pack. You'll need two strips from each patterned paper. Tear them into whatever size you'd life. Distress the edges of the papers if needed. Ink the edges of the papers using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Ledger & Script Stamp, you'll need the Remember, Explore, Adventure and Ledger stamp. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to all the stamps and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. From the Ledger Stamp, you'll need the 0023 stamp and the 04300 stamp. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to both stamps and stamp on the ledger as desired. The 0023 stamp gets stamp once and the 04300 stamp gets stamped twice. Cut out the ledger. Distress the edges of the ledger. Cut each word into a word strip. Ink the edges of the ledger and word strips using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Where to Next? 4x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the two cameras and the two suitcases. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the cameras and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the suitcases and stamp onto the same piece of watercolour cardstock. Reapply ink to one of the suitcases and stamp onto the same piece of watercolour cardstock. Colour the cameras and suitcases in using a waterbrush and watercolours. Once the images have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of the images using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere three of the patterned paper strips as desired on the left hand side of the page.
Adhere the ledger to the strips of patterned paper as desired. Use foam squares to layer the suitcases to the bottom left side of the ledger piece. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the two cameras as desired to the top of the suitcases.
Adhere the remaining two pieces of patterned paper to the bottom right side of the page as desired.
To finish the art journal page, use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the Remember, Explore, Adventure word strips overtop of the patterned paper strips as desired.
