We love how she meticulously stitched a bunch of the tiny houses on her background paper to add amazing detail and texture! Hello, Hello! Sara with you today! I had so much fun playing with the new No Place Like Home goodies...so much so, in fact, that I started playing with my goodies before I remembered to turn on my camera..oooppppsss...but don't worry, not much was missed!
Those houses were just begging to be stitched...so I started with that. And the fun fur pattern in this collection, along with all the home elements, made me reach for a photo of my son and his dog....who is not small but insists on sitting on my son's lap, just like this, while he plays video games.
I cut apart the 4x6 card with the "home" text so I could use the rest on another project and pulled in some of these pretty wood veneers from the Focus On You collection. They totally work with this collection too. I love when things mix and match! I also added some doilies, flair, sequins, mist, and enamel shapes to finish this layout just perfectly! I love how this turned out and I hope you do too!
