Today we are excited for Sara Misher to share her mixed media layout! She did some stamping into paste and added beautiful colours and other elements to finish off the feature area. We love that she was able to create this fall layout using the Canada-specific maple leaf paper - yet it doesn't look too Canadian! I know its summer...But the Strong and Free Collection just screamed "create a fall layout" to me, so that's what I did! I absolutely love how this layout turned out - the colors, the elements, the MIXED MEDIA! I am not a big mixed media girl...I dabble a bit, but that's all. But I took Heather's class at Big Picture Classes which is all about mixed media techniques and I wanted to play, so play I did and check out the results! I just love the texture! and the Wild Whisper paper took all this media like a champ! No warping, no tearing or ripping...and I added the layers and the texture and the wet mediums..let me tell ya!
