Simple Pleasures Feed the Soul! Wall Hanging by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Simple Pleasures Feed the Soul! Wall Hanging. To create my wall hanging, I've used the Simplicity Collection by Pam Bray Designs. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my wall hanging at home.
To start, you'll need the red/pink piece of paper out of the Simplicity Paper Pack. Die cut a 4" Stitched Indented Rectangle out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the patterned paper with the flowers on it, die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Indented Rectangle out of the white chickenwire side of the paper. Fussy cut the pink flower from the same side of the patterned paper. Flip the paper over and die cut a 3 3/4" Fitted Indented Rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangles and flower using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the flower paper, fussy cut a pink and yellow flower out. Ink the edges of both flowers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the cut apart paper, you'll need the scallop border, wreath and Simple Pleasures quote. Cut the scallop border down to 4". Fussy cut around the scallop part of the border and around the wreath. Fussy cut the quote out into four word strips. Ink the edges of all the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the 3 3/4" rectangle to the 4" rectangle. Foam square the 3 1/2" rectangle to the 3 3/4" rectangle.
Adhere the scallop border 3/8" from the left of the 3 1/2" rectangle. Adhere the yellow flower to the top left portion of the scallop border as desired. Adhere the pink flower to the bottom left portion of the scallop border as desired.
Foam square the wreath to the middle of the 3 1/2" rectangle as desired. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the large pink flower to the left of the wreath as desired.
Adhere the Simple Pleasures quote on the wreath around the flower as desired.
To finish the wall hanging, punch two holes at the top of the rectangles. Tie a piece of twine through the holes to create the hanger part of the wall hanging.
Here are a few closeups of the finished wall hanging.
Here is the finished Simple Pleasures Feed the Soul! Wall Hanging.
