Hello, Jenn here! Happy Release Day!!! I always get so excited for the first of the month when the new collection comes out. Check out this gorgeous tropical-themed collection for the month of November. Palm Paradise is such a fun, bright, and beautiful collection. I will admit, this one did make me think a little bit, though. I don't really have any tropical pictures to scrap, I haven't been on a hot tropical vacation, or live on a tropical island... BUT November in Alberta is usually cold, dark, and drab, so this is the perfect time of year to play...

One of the things that I really love about Wild Whisper collections is that, while they always have a fun theme, they are versatile enough to scrap any thing you want, and combine with other collections that you have in your stash! I thought this week that I would use the Farmhouse collection to scrap an entirely non-farm photo. I started by looking through my leftover papers, ephemera, and cards to pick out anything that didn't have a farm theme to it. There is so much! Hi!!! My layout this week is all about falling in love on the farm. At my son's kindergarten field trip, I caught the eye of a gorgeous goat, who fell in love (and I was equally in love, of course :) ) Now, some have said it was actually my sun glasses that she wanted, but her and I know the truth, it was love <3 For this 12x12 layout I used the Farmhouse collection, starting with the red barn door paper as my main background. Hello, Jenn here with the new July collection Lake Life. It's gorgeous if I do say so myself :) I grew up in Ontario, lived on a lake, swam in the lake, played by the lake, and definitely enjoyed the lake life, so I couldn't wait to dig into this collection!!! Since I'm still working away on my trip album, I pulled out the lake photos I have from our visit to Kingston, Ontario, and Lake Ontario Park. Hello, Jenn here! I was really excited this week to pull out my Out & About collection from Wild Whisper. It's such a fun and colourful collection, perfect for travel photos. I decided to use the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine's July sketch for this layout, as well. I chose a black background for this layout because I think it really highlights the colours in the collection.
