My Favourite Colour is Sunset
Hi everyone, I was very happy when my new Wild Whisper paper collections arrived last week, and the first one that I was drawn to was "Strength of the Season". The colours are beautiful and there are so many life affirming quotes... I think it's a really stunning collection! I had a photo filed away of a beautiful Bohemian Waxwing, that I wanted to use on a layout and the bonus sheet in the collection was the perfect backdrop for it. This beautiful photo was taken by Lilly Agnes. She shares many of her stunning photos on the Alberta Birds...
Great Times Spent With Family
Hi Everyone! Welcome back to the Wild Whisper Blog! I put my Christmas playlist on and had a wonderful time making this little portfolio that I'm going to share with you. It was so easy to make, especially when using all the fabulous bits and pieces that you get with a Wild Whisper collection! The collection I used for the portfolio is Canadian Winter. I found the tutorial for this portfolio on Youtube. It is a series of videos made by Papercrafter45. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4 The photo below is to show you what NOT to...
Child at Heart Box Card by Linda
Hi everyone! Today, I'm going to share one of my favorite ways to use up bits and pieces of ephemera, by making a box card. I made the card with the Child at Heart paper collection and ephemera pack. I found the SVG file for the basic box form, from The Non Crafty Crafter here. She also provides a link to Cricut Design Space where she has it set up and ready to cut. A big thank you to her for sharing it with us! This is how I glued everything together after I had cut it on my Cricut. ...
Watercolor Pocket Album by Linda
Hi everyone! Today I am showing you a project that is very dear to my heart. I love houseplants... and I have a LOT of them. For a long time now, I have wanted to create a photo album where I can document my favorite plants, and most importantly, create sections with information about their care. Some of them are"prima donnas" and have very specific watering and humidity requirements and now I will have somewhere to check who likes what! (Cause I might be a little bit forgetful!) For this album, Pam Bray's Watercolor collection was the one I chose...
Floral Mini Album by Linda
Hi! Today is a beautiful Spring day and the perfect time to share this project with you! I saw this tutorial for a mini-album on Splitcoaststampers, this week and knew I had to make it with the Floral collection and all the beautiful coordinating ephemera pieces. (To see the tutorial and paper collection, just click on each highlighted link.) To start with, I cut two 14" pieces of white satin ribbon and colored it with Copic marker BG57. I left it streaky because I wanted it to have a shabby/chic look. This is the outside of the mini-album. To add some...
