A Trio of Christmas Cards by Linda
Welcome back! Today I've got a set of 3 Christmas cards that I made using Pam Bray's beautiful Christmas paper in the 6x6" size. I love making Christmas cards because you get to use lots of glitter and bling! To make this one, I used the Pine Branch die by Tim Holtz to cut the pinecones, and the beautiful Peace stamp is from a set that is also by Tim Holtz, called Christmas Time 2. I first embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder and didn't feel it stood out enough. So I embossed over the gold with black embossing...
Child at Heart Box Card by Linda
Hi everyone! Today, I'm going to share one of my favorite ways to use up bits and pieces of ephemera, by making a box card. I made the card with the Child at Heart paper collection and ephemera pack. I found the SVG file for the basic box form, from The Non Crafty Crafter here. She also provides a link to Cricut Design Space where she has it set up and ready to cut. A big thank you to her for sharing it with us! This is how I glued everything together after I had cut it on my Cricut. ...
Trick or Treat by Linda
Hi everyone! Thanks for dropping by today! You can tell we're all having fun with the Halloween Night paper collections... lots of Halloween projects have been shared and I have one more today! It's tag time! Something quick, easy, and fun to do! I turned my tag into a shaker card using the coordinating Halloween Night sequin pack by Wild Whisper. The shaker section was popped up off the tag base, and along the top and bottom I tucked in some Dusty Attic chicken wire chipboard, along with some of Tim Holtz's Mummy Cloth. Don't you just love that creepy...
Halloween Cards that Curdle Your Blood! by Linda
When black cats prowl... and pumpkins gleam... may luck be yours on Halloween! That's just one of the cute sentiment cards you will find in Wild Whisper's Halloween Night paper pack! Eeek... this collection is scary! So scary that I dug around the internet for some SVG files that could do it justice! Here's the 2 cards and a little treat bag that I came up with. The first card I made was this delightful? skeleton man below. Thanks to the wonderful imagination of Tim Holtz and his "Creepy Eyes", this guy looks like he is burning a hole right through...
Hockey Love by Linda
Hi everyone! Today I'm using the new paper collection "Canadian Winter". This paper is all about our Canadian winters and I just love it! Who, living here in Canada, doesn't have happy memories of hockey, skiing, frosty mornings and hot chocolate? There's all that and more in the Canadian Winter collection! Let's talk about hockey... Canada's game... at 3 years old my grandson couldn't wait to get playing. He'd been dragging around a plastic stick from the time he could walk so he was more than ready! He's following in the footsteps of his Great-Grandfather, his Grandpa, and his dad. The...
