Floral Mini Album by Linda
Hi! Today is a beautiful Spring day and the perfect time to share this project with you! I saw this tutorial for a mini-album on Splitcoaststampers, this week and knew I had to make it with the Floral collection and all the beautiful coordinating ephemera pieces. (To see the tutorial and paper collection, just click on each highlighted link.) To start with, I cut two 14" pieces of white satin ribbon and colored it with Copic marker BG57. I left it streaky because I wanted it to have a shabby/chic look. This is the outside of the mini-album. To add some...
Spring Time - Linda Pekrul
Hi everyone! Around this time of year, I find myself yearning for spring. The winters here are long and quiet, with most of the birds having left to go south, to warmer climates. So I thought I'd make myself happy scrapping some memories of spring weather, and at the same time, show you that the Life Isn't Perfect collection can also be used for happy layouts! I chose the background paper because it had a happy feel to me, it tied in with all the water in my photos, and the colours remind me of spring here in Alberta....
Saying Goodbye - Linda Pekrul
Hi everyone! The "Life Isn't Perfect" collection is so versatile, as I'm sure you've seen with all the projects that have been shared this month. It covers so many of those hard, difficult stories and my layout today is about one of the sad stories. Pet lovers all know that there is just never enough time with our dearly loved fur babies. Farmhouse Pocket Page Insert by Jenn
Hello! I'm back with one final project using the Farmhouse collection. I had a few pictures left from my son's farm fieldtrip so I decided to create a pocket page insert as a companion to the 12x12 layout I made. I had six pictures left so I chose a Project Life design J for my insert. I started by placing my photos in their pockets and then I went through the left over cards from the card pack and chose some to fit in the empty pocket or behind the pictures. I cut some cards from the 12x12 cut apart...
Take the Scenic Route by Jenn
Hello, Jenn here! I was really excited this week to pull out my Out & About collection from Wild Whisper. It's such a fun and colourful collection, perfect for travel photos. I decided to use the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine's July sketch for this layout, as well. I chose a black background for this layout because I think it really highlights the colours in the collection. Because my pictures were already printed, I used two 4x6 photos instead of the sketch's 4 square photos. These are photos I took of the gorgeous views of the Badlands of Montana so I knew...
