Welcome Baby Girl Card by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Welcome Baby Girl Card which is perfect for adding to that gift. To create my card, I've used the new Sweet Little One Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite spring beverage and learn how to recreate my Welcome Baby Girl Card at home.
To start, cut a piece of white cardstock that measures 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Place the Sweet Little One - Rainbows 6x9 Stencil on the left side of the cardfront. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Pinkfresh Studio Ink - Coral Reef over the stencil as desired. Remove stencil.
Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Sweet Little One Paper Pack. Cut a piece that measures 1 1/4" x 5". Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose three border strips from the bottom of the patterned papers from the Sweet Little One Paper Pack. Cut the first border strip down to 5". Cut the second border strip down to 4 1/2". Cut the third border strip down to 3 1/2". Ink the edges of the three border strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the Sweet Little One Ephemera - Girl package, you'll need the onesie, five hearts and the baby banner. Fussy cut around all of the elements. Ink the edges of the five hearts and onesie using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Sweet Little One - Baby Girl 4x4 Stamp Set, you'll need the Welcome Baby Girl sentiment. Apply Pinkfresh Studio Ink - Marigold onto the stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut the sentiment into a word strip. Ink the edges of the word strip using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the two shorter border strips in behind the 5" border strip. Staple the three border strips to the 1 1/4" patterned paper piece in three different places.

Foam square the 1 1/4" patterned paper piece 3/4" from the left and 1/4" from the bottom of the cardfront.
Adhere the onesie 1" from the left and 3/4" from the bottom of the cardfront. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the Welcome Baby Girl sentiment to the right of the onesie as desired.
Adhere the five hearts as desired on the cardfront. Adhere the baby banner to the top right corner of the cardfront.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.
