Hello, Jenn here :) How are you all doing? I am so excited for this week's layout because I have new goodies to share!!! My video this week starts with a little unboxing of all the new products I got from the April 15th release and I LOVE them all so much. I had to start with the Happy Tails collection because my sweet little kitten Storm shows up in the collection.
I chose the bonus pattern from the 12x12 paper pack as my background, because I love the black background and how it makes those teal hearts pop. I picked two 4x3 cards from the journal cards pack to add as layers behind my photo, including one that features little Miss Storm herself!!! I decided to go with teal and coral as my main colour scheme so I picked the black and white flowers from the ephemera pack as embellishment for my photo cluster. I placed the photo in the bottom right corner of the page.
In the top left corner I created a rip in the background paper and backed it with another coral coloured 4x3 card. I nestled the cute MeoW ephemera piece into the tear, with the little Happy Tails piece. I folded down the two sides of the tear and added the coral flair right where the folds come to a point. I also added a little kitten and two little black and white flowers to complete that embellishment cluster. I added a quote and the title Welcome Storm to the bottom photo cluster, as well.
To finish the layout I scattered some little flat-backed pearls and glass hearts from Beebeecraft, and some SpeigelMom Scraps sequins. This is definitely a simple layout, but it turned out so cute, and I love the teal and coral colour scheme so much. I can't wait to keep playing with this new collection and all the others.
