Hello Wild Whisper friends and welcome back. Tracy here, and today I hav a pretty little winter inspired layout to share using the new Strength of the Season collection.
Where I live we still have about 3 feet of snow on the ground, so I thought I would keep with that winter theme to create, even though I am now finally wishing for warmer weather. Here are all of the details on my wintery layout.

Other Products Used:
Cardstock (White, Deep Green, Dark Teal), Vellum, Cheesecloth, Buttons, Gems, White Embossing Powder, Embossing Pad, Snowflake Embellishments, Distress Ink- Chipped Sapphire, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Ultra, Adhesive Dots Small)
I started my layout by creating a simple layered background using patterned paper and white cardstock. The winter leaves pattern is cut to 10x10 and the white cardstock is cut to 10.25x10.25.
I then created 2 layers of vellum with the left edges torn. Layering them together I wanted to create the look of ice when it freezes in layers. I matted the 4x4 photo in white cardstock, then a layer of dark teal leaving a strip at the bottom to add the snowflake stamped image using white embossing powder. Then mat that piece again in deep green cardstock. Add the matted photo to the right hand side of the layout on the layered vellum.
Find the small journal card "Live fully in the season you're in" and tear the left side. Add to the left hand side of the matted photo. Add a small flag created from another journal card and a strip of the snowflake patterned paper below the matted photo.
Then simply start adding embellishments on top of small bits of cheesecloth. I used a mixture of snowflake embellishments, gems and buttons in my clusters.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
