Hey friends!
Anybody else love to create Disney layouts?!?! Raise your hand! It is one of my favorite subjects to scrapbook and I just love being able to play with bold colors, fun patterns, and a little bit of make believe. One of my absolute favorite ways to scrapbook is by digging into my stash and finding supplies from lots of different collections that I can combine in a way that might be unexpected. Today, I am doing just that by combining paper from Baubles and Bubbles with Sassy Since Birth Ephemera and Stamps along with the Splotch Stamp Set. This is going to be fun!
This background paper from the Baubles and Bows collection was just perfect for a fun and funky Disney layout! All of the bright colors were exactly what I was looking for and I love that it gives a sense of motion and possibly shots fired at the enemy that matches up with this photo perfectly. I knew that I wanted to break up the patterned paper with an oversized photo mat so I went with torn white cardstock and then used coordinating ink colors to stamp with both the Splotch Stamp and the Sassy Since Birth hexagon stamp.
I added my stamping in all of the coordinating colors to the background paper and then I added some white and purple photo mats to help my photo stand out even more. I then grabbed the Sassy Since Birth Ephemera pack to find these perfect little die cut details.
I added a fun title and a few epoxy sticker stars and circles and that was really it. This quick and fun layout really brought in a lot of colors but still allows the photo to shine. I love that the bad habits and attitude die cuts are perfect for documenting this picture of Tai with one of the Disney villains.
Here's the process video if you wanna see more about how this one came together as well:
I hope that you enjoy this unique take on combining some collections together that you might not have originally thought to mix. Happy crafting!
xoxo,
Khristina
