Grow Your Own Way Spring Slimline Card by Karla!
Hello friends! Karla back today with a springtime slimline card using some fun products from the Wild Whisper Shop!! I love combining stencils and stamps and there are so many beautiful elements in the Ephemera Packs, like the Grow Your Own Way and FLOWERS from the Play In The Dirt Ephemera, that I decided to use those as well! I started off by diecutting a scalloped rectangle from the Mama Elephant Slim Basics die set and stamping it with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink using the Nicole Wright Birch Bark Stamp. I inked up the stamp and moved it around on my panel, since the panel...
Hope Blooms by Jenn
Hello Wild Whisper Family, Jenn here!!! This week I've paired my design team layout with today's sketch from Christy's 30 Days of Sketches series as well as the Scrapbooking from the Heart series, where the prompt for March is Hope! I think Hope is a great word for this month, where Spring begins. Even in these times where we still aren't quite sure exactly what tomorrow will bring, Spring gives us a feeling hopefullness. The sun shines a little more, our days are a little longer, and the first little glimmer of new life is popping up all around. I...
Documenting Everyday Life In My Covid TN by Karla
Hello! Karla back today with another installment in my Covid Traveller's Journal! For this TN layout I decided to use some photos of my sister's birthday and my daughter's online Netflix Party with a friend! I want this notebook to be positive and a reminder of how we changed what we did, but still made life fun, in spite of a pandemic. It's happening and we are making the best of it. These photos aren't even the greatest photos, but they are definitely a reminder of things or events that we still made special for us! I cut a branding...
BREW-tiful by Jenn
Hello, Jenn here, Happy Valentine's Day :) I hope you are all having a lovely day!!! For this week's layout I thought I would share a love of mine: COFFEE! I pulled out the amazing Home is Where The Wifi Is collection from Jenn Aguilar and found a selfie I took at a little coffee shop in Crowsnest Pass while we were on vacation in the mountains a couple summers ago to create this layout. I started my layout by dipping the bottom of my McDonald's coffee cup into some brown watercolour paint and used it like a stamp to...
Book Store Gift Card Holder by Karla
Hello friends! Karla back today to share a pretty gift card holder - perfect to give to a friend for their favourite book store!! I decided to combine the pretty Watercolor 6x6 Paper Pack by Pam Bray with the soft paper colours in the fabulous Re-release of the No Place Like Home Paper Pack to diecut a gift card holder. I love the way the Wild Whisper papers diecut and I pulled out a couple circles to diecut two more shapes for the front of the gift card holder. Since I love giving gifts to book stores I decided to use the One More Chapter...
